To help us provide many of our health services, the surgery has many regular clinics.  These are all by appointment only.  The clinics we run are:

Ante-natal Clinic - Tuesday

Run by the district midwife.  Dealing with all aspects of ante-natal care, including screening, advice on diet and supplements, ultrasound scanning and booking for delivery.

Asthma Clinic - weekly

Run by a Practice Nurse, for monitoring asthma medication and lung function testing.

Diabetic Clinic - weekly

Run by Dr Howe and the practice nurse, to monitor blood sugar control, medication, check on feet and eyes, and advise on diet.

Hypertension Clinic (Blood Pressure) - weekly

For monitoring blood pressure for patients known to have hypertension.  Run by the practice nurse.

Smear Clinic - once / twice a week

For cervical smears, as well as advice on breast examinations.  Run by Dr McMillan, Dr Brown and the practice nurses.

Baby Clinic - Thursdays 1.00-2.30pm

For checking on babies development and vaccinations.  Run by health visitors, doctors and the practice nurses.  Please do not bring ill children to this clinic - they need an appointment as usual.
